Link Submission Links may be submitted for inclusion in the Directory by navigating to the relevant category within the Directory and clicking the Submit Link button. The Pick of India - Directory is a human edited directory service. Links will only be accepted if found to be relevant to the Directory and if they meet our Submission Guidelines (as enumerated herein below).
The Pick of India - Directory is a Regional Directory specializing on India specific sites. Please submit your links only if they are relevant to India or they will be rejected. If you feel that your link provides content which may be of interest to our users, but is not India specific then please submit in the World Category only.
The Directory provides option to submit three types of links:-
(1) Featured Links - These links appear in a box on top of all links in their respective categories and are highlighted with a yellow background. This is a paid link feature and Links are valid for a period of 1 year or in multiples thereof.
(2) Regular Links - Due to a high incidence of SPAM we are beingforced to charge for this type of Link. This type of Link is valid for thelifetime of the Directory. Links must be relevant to our readers and meetour submission guidelines herein below. The decision of our editors on whether a link is selected/rejected shall be final.
(3) Regular Link with Reciprocal - This is a free link but with a reciprocal link placed on your website pointing to our site. Under this category, we ensure that all PR is passed on to your site and and this type of link is mutually beneficial to both sites.
Submission Guidelines Please read our Link Submission Guidelines here carefully. The Pick of India - Directory service is a Human Edited Directory service. Please ensure that your site conforms to our acceptable sites guideline before submission to be eligible for inclusion.
Acceptable Sites- Sites that are India specific and provide good content or information.
- Sites that are not publicly hosted (like geocities etc.) but are hosted on their own top level domains (like www.mysite.com or www.mysite.co.in where mysite is the domain).
- Sites that have good content that my be of relevance to our users here in India, even though the site may not be an Indian site.
Un-acceptable Sites- Sites that promote Race, Hatred or Terrorism.
- Sites that are Pornographic in nature and Adult related.
- Sites that are Doorway Pages without any relevant content of their own.
- Multi Level Marketing sites
- Pyramid sites
- Gambling Sites
- Any other sites that may be engaged in activities that are illegal in India.
